As of 2004, a 10x10 plot costs $30/year and "gardenership" funds are available to help off set the cost. Some plots are still available in the Seattle area. Other p-patches have a 1-3 year waiting list, so if you are thinking of starting a garden for fun or as an educational project do not delay!
